What should you know about tissue stabilized guided subcision?

Some acne scars are depressed because strong bands beneath the skin pull the surface downward. During subcision, a clinician uses a needle or small instrument under local anaesthetic to separate those tethering bands. The aim is to free the scarred area and encourage gradual remodelling. “Guided” may refer to using a planned approach based on the scar pattern, depth, and nearby anatomy; the exact technique varies by practitioner.
