Bring a list of medicines and describe any current cough, wheeze or breathlessness. Follow instructions about inhalers before the appointment. During testing, sit as directed, keep a firm mouth seal and continue exhaling for the time requested. Ask for the report to be explained before drawing conclusions from its labels or graphs.
