Solarcaine for sunburn: what to know

Many Solarcaine products contain a topical anaesthetic or cooling ingredients. They may reduce the feeling of heat, stinging, or tenderness for a while. Move out of the sun and take a cool, not icy, shower or apply a cool damp cloth. Pat the skin dry and use a fragrance-free moisturiser or an emollient while the skin is still slightly damp.
