What should you know about small liposarcoma?

Liposarcoma is a form of soft-tissue sarcoma. It can develop in deeper tissue, including the abdomen, pelvis, or an arm or leg, and may be noticed as a gradually enlarging lump or pressure. Small size does not by itself describe the tumour’s behaviour. Pathology identifies the subtype and grade, while scans show its relationship to nearby structures.
