Small dark spots on inner thigh: what to know

Friction from walking, tight clothing, shaving, or a previous rash can leave post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Moisture and rubbing may also contribute to intertrigo, while a fungal condition can cause patches with fine scale or itch. Melasma and sun spots are other pigment conditions, although the inner thigh is less typical for sun-related change.
