Skin-coloured bump on the neck

A tender bump around a hair may reflect folliculitis, while clusters appearing after heat and sweating can fit heat rash. Rough follicle-centred bumps may be keratosis pilaris; firm pale bumps can be milia. Less common inflammatory conditions, including lichen planus, need examination when bumps persist or change.
