What should you know about remeron rash?

A new rash can be a Drug Rash, but timing alone cannot prove that Remeron caused it. Infection, heat, friction, contact with a product, or an inflammatory condition can look similar. Atopic Dermatitis, Contact Dermatitis, Heat Rash, Intertrigo, Psoriasis, Ringworm, and Scabies are among other possibilities, each with different clues and treatment.

Note when the rash began, where it appeared, how it has changed, and every medicine, supplement, and skin product used around that time. Contact the prescriber or a pharmacist promptly for personalised advice before changing a prescribed antidepressant; do not restart a medicine that a clinician has told you to avoid. Use bland, fragrance-free skin care and avoid heat, scratching, and new creams until the cause is clearer.

Seek emergency help for swelling of the lips, tongue, face, or throat, trouble breathing, faintness, blistering, skin peeling, painful widespread redness, mouth or eye sores, or fever with a rapidly spreading rash. Even without those signs, arrange same-day medical advice if the eruption is spreading quickly or follows a newly started medicine.
