What should you know about a rash of small red dots?

Notice whether the dots are itchy, painful, raised, scaly, or associated with blisters. Check whether they fade briefly when pressed, spread quickly, or follow a new product, medicine, exercise, or heat exposure. Heat Rash often affects sweaty or covered areas; contact dermatitis follows contact with an irritant or allergen. A clinician should assess dots that do not fade with pressure, especially when you feel unwell.
