Cellulite is shaped by fat compartments, fibrous connective bands, and the overlying skin. Radio frequency devices deliver heat through the skin, aiming to encourage collagen remodeling and make the surface look more even. Depending on the system, the applicator may glide over the skin or combine energy with suction or massage. This is cosmetic contouring, not a treatment for obesity or a method for removing all fat. The degree and duration of visible change cannot be predicted from the treatment name alone.

During consultation, show the areas that bother you and mention numbness, scars, circulation conditions, implanted electronic devices, pregnancy, active infection, or recent procedures. Ask about the device, cooling method, expected sensations, and whether the plan involves more than one visit. Redness, warmth, tenderness, and swelling can happen afterward. Wear or apply only what the clinic recommends, avoid irritating products until the skin settles, and protect treated skin from strong sun.

Get advice from the treating clinician if pain is strong or worsening, blisters appear, swelling is pronounced, redness spreads, fluid drains, or numbness persists.
