What should you know about QV Intensive with ceramides?

An intensive moisturiser is generally richer than a light lotion, so it can be useful when skin feels rough, tight or flaky. Ceramides are barrier lipids that sit between skin cells and help limit moisture escaping. The product may ease dryness, but it does not treat every cause of redness or itch. Persistent inflammation can reflect eczema, psoriasis, contact dermatitis or infection and needs a more specific assessment.

Smooth a thin, even layer over clean skin while it is still slightly damp, concentrating on dry areas and avoiding the eyes or open wounds. Reapply after bathing and whenever the skin becomes uncomfortable. A richer product may feel too heavy on the face or in hot, sweaty folds; choose a texture that does not trap irritation.
