What should you know about poly rheumatoid arthritis?

Rheumatoid arthritis is an immune-mediated condition in which joint-lining inflammation can affect several areas. Seek urgent medical help for a hot, very swollen joint with fever or feeling acutely unwell, sudden loss of strength or sensation, severe eye pain or vision change, chest pain, or difficulty breathing. These features need prompt assessment and should not be attributed to rheumatoid arthritis without examination.
