What should you know about plant exosomes?

A vesicle is a very small membrane-wrapped structure that may contain signaling molecules. With plant exosomes, the source, extraction process, purification, preservatives, and storage all influence what reaches the skin. Some products are leave-on cosmetics; others are paired with microneedling or another treatment that temporarily disturbs the skin surface.

A marketing description cannot tell you whether a product has been tested for your particular use. Improvement in texture or hydration may also come from moisturisers, soothing ingredients, sun protection, or the procedure performed alongside it.

Request the full ingredient list, batch and expiry information, directions, and the name of the qualified professional responsible for treatment. Mention allergies, sensitive skin, immune problems, active rashes, and medicines that affect healing. Avoid sharing products or using them on cuts, infected areas, or freshly irritated skin.

Use gentle cleansing and the recommended barrier care after treatment. Pause other potentially irritating actives until the skin has recovered according to the practitioner’s advice.

Arrange medical care promptly if redness spreads, pain escalates, swelling becomes pronounced, drainage develops, skin blisters, or you develop facial swelling, wheezing, dizziness, or faintness. A severe reaction or infection needs assessment rather than concealment with makeup or another serum.
