What should you know about osteosarcoma in pelvis?

The pelvis contains several bones and lies close to muscles, nerves, blood vessels and organs. A tumour there may cause deep pain, a limp, difficulty changing position, or a swelling that is not easy to see. Symptoms depend on which pelvic bone is involved and how close the tumour is to nearby structures.
