What should you know about oh crap cradle cap?

Cradle cap, also called infantile seborrheic dermatitis, often causes yellow or white flaky or greasy scale on the scalp. It may extend into the eyebrows, behind the ears, or skin folds. Babies are usually otherwise well, and the scale is not a sign that a caregiver has failed to wash the scalp. Scratching or picking can create small breaks that become sore and allow infection.
