An organisation may collect cells, process them, store them, supply them to a clinic, or develop a treatment protocol. Those roles are not interchangeable. A clinic using a product should be able to explain who collected the cells, where processing occurred, how the material was identified, and who is responsible for your care.

Marketing language can blur the difference between laboratory work, an authorised medical product, and an experimental service. Words such as regenerative, natural, or personalised do not answer whether the specific treatment has appropriate oversight or evidence for your diagnosis.

Ask for the legal name and physical location of the company and clinic, the clinician’s credentials, and the regulator or ethics body overseeing the proposed use. Request a plain explanation of the cell source, handling, storage, testing, route of administration, and follow-up. Ask what happens if the product is delayed, contaminated, unavailable, or causes a reaction.

Review the written consent form carefully. It should explain uncertainty, alternatives, costs separately from medical claims, and who pays for treatment of an adverse event. Take time to discuss the proposal with an independent clinician who is not selling the product.

Do not wait for a company response if you develop fever, rapidly increasing swelling, severe redness, pus, breathing difficulty, collapse, or a new neurological symptom after a cell procedure. Contact emergency services for severe breathing or circulation problems, and tell clinicians exactly what was injected and when.

What is your relationship with the company? Is this use authorised for my condition? What independent information supports it? Who provides follow-up, and what is the plan if the treatment does not help or causes harm?
