What should you know about HydraFacial therapie?

“Therapie” may simply be a clinic’s wording for a HydraFacial service. The treatment commonly uses a device with a moving tip, fluid delivery and controlled suction. The sequence can lift away surface build-up, clear some pore contents and leave selected serums or moisturisers on the skin. It is different from a prescription treatment and cannot address every underlying cause of redness, acne, scarring or pigmentation. The exact protocol should be explained before the session begins.

Provide a full list of skincare products, medicines and allergies. Mention pregnancy, active rashes, open areas, recent sun exposure, cold sores and procedures such as waxing, laser treatment or injections. Follow the clinic’s advice about pausing irritating products. Afterward, keep the skin cool and gently cleansed, apply a simple moisturiser and protect it from sunlight. Avoid vigorous rubbing or layering several new products while the skin is sensitive.

Ask the provider for advice if redness, warmth, swelling or discomfort is getting worse. Blisters, marked tenderness, crusting or discharge need assessment. Seek emergency care for facial or throat swelling with trouble breathing. A lesion that changes, bleeds or fails to heal needs medical review rather than another cosmetic session.
