How effective is urodynamic testing for overactive bladder?

Urodynamic tests measure pressure, urine flow and bladder capacity while the bladder fills and empties. They can help show involuntary bladder contractions, difficulty storing urine, or incomplete emptying. The findings may be most useful when urgency, frequency, leakage or recurrent symptoms do not fit a straightforward pattern.
