How can heat rash go away?

Short answer
Heat rash often settles after the skin is cooled, kept dry, and protected from further sweating or friction.
This answers one question. It is not a diagnosis and does not replace an assessment by a licensed doctor.

What the rash may mean
Heat rash, also called prickly heat or miliaria, can happen when blocked sweat ducts trap sweat near the surface of the skin. Small raised bumps, prickling, itching, and redness may appear where heat and moisture collect. A skin rash or skin bumps can have other causes too, so its pattern and timing matter.
Steps that can help
Move to a cooler setting, loosen tight clothing, and let the affected area breathe. Rinse gently with cool or lukewarm water, pat dry, and avoid heavy oils, fragranced products, and scratching. A cool compress may calm irritation. Once the skin is no longer damp, a bland moisturiser may support the skin barrier; see Emollient Therapy for more detail.
If itching or inflammation is troublesome, a clinician or pharmacist can advise whether a short course of a suitable topical medicine is appropriate. Do not apply steroid products to sensitive areas without checking how and where to use them; see Topical Corticosteroids.
When to seek care
Arrange medical advice if the rash is spreading, very painful, warm, oozing, associated with fever, or not improving after cooling and reducing friction. Seek urgent help for facial swelling, trouble breathing, faintness, or rapidly worsening symptoms, because these are not typical heat-rash features.
Questions for your doctor
Ask whether the pattern fits heat rash, whether another rash could look similar, and which product is safe for the affected body area. Mention recent heat exposure, new skincare products, medicines, sweating, and whether bumps change after cooling.
