Heat rash between black skin: what to know

Colour differences can make a rash harder to recognise, particularly in skin folds or low light. Look for new roughness, tiny bumps, warmth, swelling, soreness and a clear change from your usual skin tone. Heat rash is linked with sweat and blocked cooling in warm areas, but eczema, contact dermatitis and fungal infection may look similar.
