Hair Care Mesotherapy

Hair mesotherapy is a technique in which a practitioner places small amounts of a selected product into the scalp. It is not one standard formula: the substance, injection depth, technique, and intended outcome may differ. It should not be used to bypass an assessment of sudden shedding, patchy loss, infection, or scalp inflammation. Ask exactly what will be injected, why it is being suggested, and whether it is appropriate for your diagnosis.

Before treatment, share allergies, skin conditions, medicines, pregnancy or breastfeeding, bleeding problems, and any history of poor healing. Confirm the practitioner’s medical credentials, sterile technique, product name, storage, and aftercare plan. Afterward, follow the written instructions, keep the area clean, and avoid rubbing, scratching, intense heat, or unapproved scalp products until advised. Mild tenderness or pinpoint redness can occur after injections; do not conceal worsening symptoms with repeated sessions. Skin Boosters are a different injectable treatment and are not automatically suitable for the scalp.

Contact the treating clinician if swelling, pain, redness, warmth, bleeding, crusting, or drainage is increasing rather than settling. Seek urgent medical help for breathing difficulty, facial swelling, faintness, or widespread hives after an injection. A new bald patch, severe scalp pain, or persistent inflammation needs diagnosis rather than repeated cosmetic treatment.
