What should you know about gravol for dizziness?

Dizziness can mean spinning, imbalance, lightheadedness, or feeling faint. Gravol may be useful when an inner-ear problem causes vertigo with nausea, but it will not correct dehydration, low blood sugar, anaemia, heat exhaustion, anxiety, or an abnormal heart rhythm. Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo often causes brief spinning with head movement and may need specific repositioning treatment rather than repeated medicine.

Sit or lie down when symptoms begin, rise slowly, and avoid ladders or driving until your balance and alertness are normal.
