How to get rid of ringworm

Ringworm is not a worm. It is a fungal infection that can cause an itchy, expanding rash with a clearer centre and a scaly or raised edge. It may affect the body, groin, feet, scalp, or nails, and appearance can vary by skin tone. A rash can resemble other conditions, so a clinician may check the skin before choosing treatment.
