What should you know about frequent cold and sneezing?

A common cold usually develops over several days and improves gradually. Rest, drink fluids, and use gentle saline nasal rinsing if it suits you. Wash hands regularly and avoid sharing towels or utensils when someone has a cold. Reduce exposure to smoke and fragranced sprays; keep sleeping areas clean and well ventilated. If symptoms are predictable around a trigger, discuss allergy medication with a pharmacist or clinician rather than starting repeated treatment without advice.

Arrange a medical review if symptoms keep returning, interfere with sleep, or do not settle as expected. Seek urgent care for trouble breathing, swelling of the lips or throat, severe weakness, confusion, or dehydration. A clinician can examine the nose and chest and decide whether testing or targeted treatment is needed.
