Flat Actinic Keratosis

A flat lesion may be pink, red, tan, or close to the surrounding skin, with texture that is easier to feel than see. It often appears on sun-exposed areas such as the face, ears, scalp, forearms, or backs of the hands. Arrange a skin examination rather than treating an uncertain spot at home.
