What should you know about fibroadenoma dangerous?

Fibroadenoma is a non-cancerous solid breast lump formed from glandular and connective tissue. Many feel smooth, firm, and mobile, although not every lump has the same features. A diagnosis cannot be made reliably from a self-examination, and a breast lump is not proof of cancer or of fibroadenoma.

Assessment may include a clinical examination and imaging. Breast Ultrasound can provide information about the lump's structure. Breast Biopsy may be recommended when the examination or imaging is uncertain, or when tissue confirmation is needed.

Arrange an appointment for a new or changing lump and take note of its location, duration, tenderness, and any cycle-related pattern. Keep prior scan results if you have them. Follow the recommended review plan even when the lump feels familiar or has previously been labelled a fibroadenoma.
