Facial for Frown Lines: What to Know

Frown lines are vertical creases between the eyebrows. Repeated contraction of nearby facial muscles can make them more visible during expression and, over time, while the face is relaxed. Sun exposure, skin ageing, and reduced hydration can add to the etched appearance. Wrinkles elsewhere can coexist but do not explain every brow crease.

Use a gentle cleanser, moisturiser, and daily broad-spectrum sunscreen to support the skin surface. A facial may improve comfort and temporary dryness but does not change muscle activity. Cosmetic frown lines are usually not urgent. Seek medical advice for a new crease with facial weakness, drooping, numbness, severe headache, or sudden changes in speech or vision. After an injectable treatment, rapidly increasing swelling, severe pain, skin colour change, or vision symptoms require urgent review.
