Facial cheek fillers: what to know

A trained medical professional places filler beneath the skin around the cheek to restore volume, soften a hollow, or change contour. Seek emergency medical help for sudden vision change, severe eye pain, unusual skin whitening or darkening, severe headache, weakness, or difficulty speaking after filler. These symptoms can indicate a time-sensitive vascular problem and should not wait for a routine appointment.
