Epclusa skin rash: what to know

A new rash may be related to a medicine, but it can also result from contact with a product, heat, infection, eczema, psoriasis, or an unrelated skin problem. Describe its start in relation to each dose, its location, whether it itches or hurts, and whether there are blisters, peeling, mouth sores, or eye symptoms.

Your clinician may review every medicine, supplement, and topical product, examine the skin, and decide whether testing is needed. Get emergency help for trouble breathing, throat tightness, faintness, facial or tongue swelling, widespread hives, skin pain, blistering, peeling, or sores in the mouth or eyes. Contact a clinician urgently for a rapidly spreading rash, fever, or marked illness, even if breathing is normal.
