Does subcision treat cellulite?

Cellulite dimples can form where fibrous connective bands pull the skin toward deeper tissue while surrounding fat creates a textured surface. Subcision uses a needle or cannula under the skin to release selected bands. It targets tethered depressions rather than overall body size, loose skin, or every uneven area. A clinician needs to examine whether the visible change is true cellulite and whether the dimples are accessible for this approach.
