Does Botox for sweating treat sweaty palms?

Palmar hyperhidrosis means the hands produce more sweat than is needed for cooling. A clinician places small injections into the skin of the palms. The medicine reduces communication between selected nerves and sweat glands, so sweating in the treated area becomes less active. The effect is temporary and does not correct every possible cause of sweating.
