Possible explanations

Skin can crease where the breast meets the chest, especially with pressure from clothing, posture, weight change, or natural breast shape. Scars, inflammation, a cyst, or another lump can also pull nearby tissue. A breast dimple is a common presentation of breast cancer, but most skin changes have causes that are not cancer. Only an examination and, when needed, imaging can clarify the cause.

Note whether the mark appears when you raise your arms, whether it fades, and whether it is on one side or both. Do not repeatedly press the area to test it.

Compare both breasts in a mirror with your arms relaxed and raised. Record when you first noticed the change and any related lump, pain, rash, discharge, or nipple change.
