Dark circles and Mamaearth products: what to know

Dark Circles can reflect pigment, visible vessels, thin skin, dehydration, rubbing, puffiness or a tear-trough hollow. A topical product may support the skin barrier and make dryness less noticeable, but a cream cannot fill a structural hollow or remove every inherited colour pattern. Marketing language such as brightening should not be read as a diagnosis or a promise of a particular result.

Read the full ingredient list and consider fragrance, essential oils, exfoliating acids and other ingredients that may sting sensitive eyelid skin. Itch, flaking or redness can signal Atopic Dermatitis or irritation rather than a need for stronger brightening.

Patch-test a new product away from the eye first, then use a small amount on clean skin exactly as directed. Keep it out of the eyes and stop if burning, swelling, rash or watering develops. Introduce one new product at a time so you can identify the cause of a reaction. Gentle cleansing, moisturising, sun protection and avoiding rubbing often matter more than layering multiple products.
