What should you know about cryolipolysis abdomen?

An applicator draws the selected abdominal fold into contact with cooling surfaces. The aim is to affect fat cells beneath the skin while protecting the skin surface. It is designed for a localized bulge, not general weight reduction, loose skin, or deeper abdominal fullness. A clinician should assess whether the fold is suitable and whether a different cause of enlargement needs attention.

During recovery, expect possible redness, swelling, tenderness, bruising, tingling or numbness in the treated area.
