What should you know about cosmetic fat transfer?

The procedure normally has two parts: harvesting fat through a small liposuction procedure and preparing it before carefully placing it in the chosen area. Call the surgical team for increasing redness, drainage, fever, worsening pain, or a wound that opens. Seek urgent care for chest pain, shortness of breath, sudden confusion, severe weakness, or rapidly increasing facial swelling. New vision changes or severe pain in a treated facial area also require immediate assessment.
