CO2 Laser for Lips: What to Know

CO2 laser uses focused heat to remove or remodel damaged surface layers. Around the mouth, it may be considered for fine lines, uneven texture, or selected scars. The vermilion lip and nearby facial skin have different tissue characteristics, so the exact area and settings matter. A consultation should clarify whether the goal is skin resurfacing, scar improvement, or another lip concern.
