What should you know about chicken skin type?

This pattern can affect otherwise dry, normal, or sensitive skin, so the phrase does not define your whole skin type. Bumps are often even and similar in size, with a rough texture and little discomfort. They may be more noticeable on the outer upper arms, thighs, cheeks, or buttocks. Seek medical advice when bumps become painful, rapidly change, drain pus, or are surrounded by spreading redness. Fever or feeling unwell needs prompt assessment. A clinician should also review a new, persistent eruption, especially when the pattern is uneven or home care makes it worse.
