What should you know about chafing rash groin?

Intertrigo is inflammation where touching skin surfaces rub together and retain heat or sweat. The groin is especially vulnerable because movement creates friction and the fold can stay damp. The rash may look red, raw, shiny, or cracked and may sting or itch.
