What should you know about bump fighter razor?

An ingrown hair curls back into the skin or grows sideways after shaving, waxing or tweezing. This can cause a small raised bump, itch, tenderness or darkening. Some bumps instead reflect folliculitis, where a hair follicle becomes inflamed, or keratosis pilaris, which causes many rough follicular bumps. The tool alone cannot tell these apart.

Soften hair with warm water, apply a fragrance-free shaving gel and use a clean, sharp razor with light pressure. Shave in the direction of growth, avoid repeated passes over the same area and rinse the blade between strokes. Do not pick or dig at a trapped hair. Afterward, rinse, pat dry and moisturise. If bumps continue, a clinician may discuss topical care or laser hair removal.

Arrange a review when bumps are painful, pus-filled, spreading, repeatedly returning or leaving scars or dark marks. Seek prompt care for fever, rapidly increasing redness or severe tenderness. Recurrent beard-area bumps may be razor bumps, while a widespread rash can need a different approach.
