What should you know about early adenomyosis meaning?

Adenomyosis affects the wall of the uterus. The muscle may become tender or enlarged, and symptoms can include heavy periods, painful periods, pelvic pressure, or pain between periods. Some people have no symptoms, while others notice a gradual change in their usual bleeding or cramps.

Symptoms are not specific to adenomyosis. Fibroids, endometriosis, polyps, and other pelvic conditions can cause similar problems. Assessment may include a history, pelvic examination, and imaging such as ultrasound; the results are interpreted alongside your symptoms.
