What should you know about YAG laser hair removal?

The laser is attracted to pigment in the hair shaft. Heat travels toward the follicle and can disrupt its ability to produce a strong hair. Because hairs grow in different phases, one appointment cannot reach every follicle equally. Hair may shed after treatment, and regrowth can become finer or less dense over time.

YAG commonly refers to Nd:YAG laser technology.
