What does tremor feel like with hyperthyroidism?

The movement may be subtle at first but can make a cup, phone, or piece of paper quiver. It can affect the fingers, hands, arms, or voice and may be more obvious during precise tasks. Hyperthyroidism can also cause a racing or irregular heartbeat, heat intolerance, sweating, nervousness, difficulty sleeping, frequent bowel movements, muscle weakness, or unplanned weight loss. These features can overlap with other conditions, so tremor does not establish the cause by itself.
