During a session, warmth or a brief snapping feeling is possible. Afterward, redness or small follicle bumps may appear. Some hairs release over the following days rather than disappearing immediately. Since follicles cycle through growth phases, later appointments may be needed to reach hairs that were resting at the first visit.

Follow instructions about shaving and arrive with clean skin free of fragranced products. Do not wax or pluck between planned sessions unless the clinic says otherwise. Protect treated skin from direct sun, choose loose clothing where friction is likely, and wash gently. Avoid scratching, strong exfoliants, hot baths, and heat exposure until irritation has settled. Do not judge the final response while the skin is still red.

Ask for review if redness spreads, discomfort worsens, blisters or crusts form, or the area develops pus or a persistent dark or pale mark. Urgent help is needed for facial swelling with breathing difficulty. If the before-and-after change is unclear, bring dated photographs and ask the clinician to compare the same lighting and body position rather than relying on memory.
