What are the most common symptoms of Meniere's disease?

Vertigo is a spinning or moving sensation that can make standing and walking difficult. Episodes may be accompanied by nausea, sweating, and imbalance. Hearing loss may come and go at first and can affect one ear. Ringing in the ears, also called tinnitus, may become louder around an episode, while pressure or fullness can make the ear feel blocked. Other inner-ear problems can cause similar symptoms, so the combination and timing need clinical assessment.

Sit or lie down in a safe place when vertigo begins, keep your head still, and avoid driving, heights, or machinery until your balance returns.
