Milia around the chin: what to know

A milium is usually a smooth, firm, white or skin-coloured bead just beneath the surface. It is often not sore and does not behave like a pus-filled spot. Chin acne may be red, tender or linked with blackheads and other lesions; shaving, masks, saliva, cosmetics and heavy balms can also irritate this area.
