How does fractional laser treatment work?

A Fractional Laser treats a fraction of the skin surface in a pixel-like pattern rather than removing or heating the entire area at once. Depending on the device, energy may heat tissue without removing its surface or ablate tiny channels through it. The surrounding untreated skin helps the treated columns repair, while new collagen and gradual tissue remodelling can soften selected texture concerns.
