What should you know about hair fall due to breakage?

Broken strands are often shorter, uneven, or missing the bulb seen on a naturally shed hair. Frizz, split ends, rough texture, and shorter hairs around the hairline support shaft damage. Heat, bleaching, relaxing, friction, tight styles, and forceful detangling can weaken hair. Traction Alopecia can also affect follicles when pulling is repeated.
