What should you know about facial PRP injections?

Platelet-rich plasma is prepared by taking a small blood sample, processing it to concentrate platelets, and placing the plasma into selected facial tissue. Platelets contain substances that participate in healing, but PRP is not a filler and does not replace missing volume in the same way.
