What do dark eyes and pale skin mean?

The skin beneath the eyes is thin, so shadows, allergies, poor sleep, sun exposure and natural pigmentation can make it look darker. Pale skin may be easier to notice in the lips, gums, palms or inside the eyelids. Reduced red blood cells or haemoglobin can cause pallor with tiredness, breathlessness, dizziness, headaches, palpitations or feeling cold.
