What should you know about big white head pimple?

A true whitehead is a closed pore filled with oil and dead skin cells, usually forming a small white or skin-coloured bump. A larger spot with a white centre and a red, tender base can be a pustule. A deep painful lump may reflect more severe inflammation beneath the surface. Milia are firm keratin-filled bumps that can look white but are not acne and do not release like ordinary pimples.
