Can baking soda remove a skin tag?
A paste can dry, sting or inflame healthy tissue without safely separating the tag. Avoid mixing it with acids, covering it tightly, cutting the tag or tying it off at home.
What a skin tag is
A skin tag is a soft, benign growth that often hangs from a narrow stalk. It commonly appears where skin rubs, such as the neck, underarms, groin or beneath the breasts.
Not every raised growth is a skin tag. A wart, mole or another lesion can look similar, especially when the area is dark, crusted or broad-based. Correct identification matters before any removal attempt.

Leave an uncomplicated tag alone if it does not catch, bleed or bother you. Reduce friction with loose clothing and stop applying baking soda if burning, redness or cracking develops; rinse gently and use a bland moisturiser.
